8 Ketch is a fabulous oceanfront home in the Palmetto Dunes community on Hilton Head Island. Located on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, this home features tasteful furnishings, new carpet throughout, and a spacious oceanfront pool and spa – all accompanied by breathtaking ocean views! In all, it is the perfect escape for family and friends.

Upon entering the home, guests will find vaulted ceilings and a large living area with plenty of seating, a 48” plasma TV. There is also a half bath and wet bar with wine cooler located inside the front door. To the right of the living area is a dining room with a large wood table that can accommodate 10 people. The kitchen, features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors. A table, that seats 8, looks out a large picture window over the pool and out to the ocean. Down the hall from the kitchen is a laundry room with full-size washer/dryer.

Continuing down the hall is a room that can be used as an additional bedroom or media room, complete with a 44” plasma TV, a queen sleeper sofa and doors for privacy. There is also a set of stairs that leads upstairs to the additional sitting room. On the other side of the house are two downstairs bedrooms. The first bedroom offers two twin beds, a 24” mounted flat screen TV and private bathroom with a separate tub and shower. Next to this bedroom will be the master bedroom. This room offers a king bed, additional sitting area, great views of the ocean, and private access out to the deck. The private master bathroom has a double vanity and walk-in shower.

The four additional bedrooms and a lounging area – perfect for reading the morning paper and relaxing – can be found upstairs on the second level of this oceanfront home. Off this lounging area is a bathroom with shower only. The first bedroom has a king bed and a 36” plasma TV. The private bathroom offers a single vanity and walk-in shower. The second bedroom has 1 king, 4 twins, a 40” TV and incredible views of the beach. This room has access to two full bathrooms. The private en-suite bath offers a single vanity and shower only. There is also bedroom and hall access to another full bathroom that offers a single vanity and shower. Down the hall, that is open to below, are two more bedrooms. The first bedroom has 2 kings and a 36” TV. The other bedroom has one king bed and 36” TV. These two bedrooms share a bath with shower only that is located at the end of the hallway. Both rooms have exceptional views of the ocean. Swinging doors may be used for privacy at opposite ends of the hallway.

The oceanfront pool is the perfect setting for lounging, grilling, and relaxing. The deck comes equipped with a premium Weber Platinum propane grill and a grilling and prep area for the chef. The large kidney shaped pool is great for families and also has an elevated spa that waterfalls into the pool, all of this while enjoying the breathtaking ocean views that will remind you, this is why you get away to Hilton Head Island!
