One of Hilton Head Island’s newest restaurants puts the focus on creating a flavorful menu in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

Top Dawg Tavern, a family owned and operated casual dining restaurant, opens its fifth location in Hilton Head in Shelter Cove Harbour &Marina. Known for its fresh food, great value and upbeat atmosphere, Top Dawg Tavern will be serving lunch & dinner, 7 days a week and brunch on Sundays at their new location. Stop in for amazing daily features, ice cold cocktails, and some of the best water views on the island!

Renee and Brett Summers dreamed up the idea of creating the perfect place for them to grab a bite to eat, have a drink and enjoy time together with friends and family. They wanted a gathering place for everyone that was casual, yet comfy; welcoming and most importantly FUN! Being die-hard sports fans -it also needed to be a place to watch all their favorite sports. And that is how Top Dawg Tavern was born. Top Dawg Tavern’s first restaurant opened on March 4th of 2013 right outside of Athens Georgia. As the years went by they expanded and opened restaurants in several southeast communities: Columbia, SC; Summerville, SC; and Augusta, GA.

Brett and Renee have spent many years vacationing on Hilton Head Island with their daughter Genevieve so they were thrilled to find a vacancy in Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina. “We are very excited to be a part of the Hilton Head community and look forward to being here for many years to come”, said Brett. A feature that sets Top Dawg Tavern apart from other restaurants is their dedicated ‘Lil Dawg House (kid’s room) with an interactive gaming floor, chalk board wall and bubble machine. Top Dawg Tavern is a great family friendly spot serving up great food, cold drinks, and good times!

Top Dawg Tavern also offers lunch and dinner to-go and delivery via Door Dash and Grub Hub.
