Richard MacDonald is a dedicated professional with over 38 years of real estate experience here on Hilton Head Island. Richard is a South Carolina native and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Journalism. Shortly after graduation he moved to Hilton Head Island and began his real estate career in 1980. In 1985 he married Janet Sanders MacDonald from Beaufort, South Carolina. They raised 3 sons on Hilton Head Island. The oldest son and his wife and grandson live in Charlotte, NC and the 2 other sons live in Atlanta, Ga.

Richard maintains memberships in the National Association of Realtors as well as locally with the Hilton Head Island Area Association of Realtors and the Hilton Head Island Multiple Listing Service.

Richard and Janet are members of the Hilton Head Presbyterian Church where Richard serves as an Elder.
