Full Description: Escape to a Lowcountry home that showcases the island’s inherent beauty with views of the sweeping marsh, indigenous wildlife and grand moss-draped oaks. This South Beach home is that escape, with surroundings that capture the lushness of Hilton Head.
Immediately through the beveled glass doors you are welcomed with this heavenly view, and this expansive home has plenty of space in which to enjoy it. Once through the hardwood-floored foyer, there is one such space -- a charming living room with glass-top game table outfitted for bridge or chess. Open archways lead to a generously sized great room that also encompasses the gourmet-quality kitchen.
With granite countertops, seating for four at the counter, stainless steel appliances, and pendant lighting above the center island this kitchen has it all! A window side dining area, also part of this great room, seats eight elegantly. The living area enjoys prime viewing of the large TV with VCR/DVD and the brick fireplace, plus there’s sliding glass door access to the upper deck with outdoor table and chairs.
The marshside backyard is spectacular and surrounded by native landscaping. And hours of enjoyment will certainly be had at the resort-sized, exceedingly private swimming pool and hot tub, encircled by an expansive sundeck.
On the main floor, there is a beach-themed bedroom in tone-on-tone blues with king-sized bed and TV. Its private bath has a pedestal sink and tub/shower combo.
Upon ascending the lovely staircase with scrolled wrought iron railings and beyond a catwalk is the luxurious master suite with seperate sitting room. Housing a grand four poster bed. This room has luxe tones of golds, neutrals and subtle reds. The master bedroom’s panorama of the marsh and pool is especially dramatic from this second story height. The private bath has double vanity, brushed nickel pulls on the cabinetry, combination tub/shower and massive walk-in closet.
Sharing a tiled bathroom are two additional bedrooms – each charming -- one in ecru and palm-green with twin beds and a TV; and another in serene blues with queen-sized bed.
This incredible home is only a short bike ride from the shopping, dining and recreation of the quaint New England-styled South Beach Marina Village and the pristine, uncrowded beaches of South Beach.
