Full Description: This newly renovated second-row ocean home greets guests with a front yard of towering magnolias and palmettos. Entry on the first level is to a pale yellow and light den with travertine flooring, a sleeper sofa, a 52” flat screen TV and VCR/DVD. There’s also a wetbar with granite countertop and mini-refrigerator. Sliding glass doors lead outside to the fence-surrounded pool which has a waterfall and hot tub. There is also a covered deck with a two-person hammock swing for lazy afternoons, listening to the waves. Three bedrooms are found on this lower floor offering ample accommodations. A children’s dream come true, one nautically themed bedroom houses two sets of bunk beds, TV/DVD and pool access. This room shares a bathroom with the next cottage-reminiscent bedroom comprised of twin beds in blue and peach, also with TV, DVD and pool access. The third bedroom on this level is serene in pale blue and cream, featuring two double beds, bead board walls, a TV/DVD and private bathroom with glass door tile shower and granite vanity. This bedroom accesses the front bricked patio. Upstairs is the main living space of the house, revealing an impressive great room with white brick fireplace, tropical blade ceiling fan, TV with DVR and DVD and a dining room with seating for eight. One side of the home – has a view to a upper level screened porch and to the pool below – and the other side of the home is all glass to the lushly landscaped front yard. This expansive room captures both views. The screened porch also features a plethora of seating including rocking chairs and a hammock swing, with stairs to access the pool below. Integrated into the great room is the beautifully appointed kitchen, with white cabinetry, pale yellow walls, bead board accents, granite countertops and oil rubbed bronze pulls. Two more bedrooms are found on this second level including the cheerfully nautical master, which has a king-sized bed, TV/VCR, bead board wall and hardwood floors. Its bathroom has a corner whirlpool bath, saturnia flooring, glass door shower, and two pedestal sinks, above which is a granite ledge for toiletries. In muted blue and rose, the second upstairs bedroom showcases a king-sized bed plus sleeper twin, TV, DVD, private balcony and hardwood floors. This room has a private bath as well with oversized saturnia shower and granite vanity. Sized for a large family or group of friends, this lovely vacation residence is blissfully a stone’s throw from the beach.
